Major Advising

The Department will host a distinguished visitor in the fall, Scott MacDonald, Norma K. Regan Professor of Christian Studies in the Department of Philosophy at Cornell University. Professor MacDonald will teach a seminar (remotely) on Augustine's Confessions (397 AD). The Confessions is considered by many to be a masterpiece in the Western tradition. Among other things, it is a chronicle and a set of reflections on the spiritual journey of a restless soul caught between pagan and Christian worlds. You will find a course description in the catalog, If you have any questions about the course, please don't hesitate to contact Professor MacDonald at [email protected].
